The YumYum! Oven’s safety features were created by parents and grandparents who wanted to make baking safe for kids and families. From the Safety Lock to the Temperature Gauge, every detail is designed to protect little hands (and big ones too!).

Here’s the scoop on our safety system:

1️⃣ Temperature Gauge: Hot = line appears. Cool = blank.
2️⃣ Safety Lock: YumYum! Oven door won’t open until it’s safe.
3️⃣ Cooling Period: 25 minutes to cool down oven and treats.

The YumYum! Oven was designed with safety as the highest priority.  The YumYum! Oven features a safety device that only lets you open the door when the oven is completely cool. This is to make sure users cannot touch hot surfaces or food.

Here’s how the safety system works:

• Temperature Gauge: When oven is hot, a line will appear in the temperature gauge. When safe to open, the gauge will be blank.
• Safety Lock: The oven door remains locked while it's still hot. Forcing the door may damage the oven.
• Cooling Period: After baking, slide ON/OFF switch to “OFF” and set a timer for 25 minutes. This cooling period ensures both oven and treats are safe to handle.

These features were thoughtfully included by the YumYum! Oven’s designers—parents and grandparents themselves—so children and families can enjoy baking safely.
